People love to read about crime. Take a look at the local news paper on any given day and there will inevitably be a story about who was arrested last night, what they plead to, or how much time they are going to serve. But the media often leaves out the important details. This blog attempts to provide these details and offers analysis of what really is going on in our criminal justice system. This blog is a work in progress, and I’ll do my best be accurate and provide cites where applicable. But I cannot promise everything is 100% correct. If you have a comment, or see an error on the site, I encourage you to contact me. And while the blog discusses legal issues, this blog is not intended to provide legal advice. If you have a criminal case, I highly encourage you to speak to an attorney. If you need an attorney, please contact me. If I can’t help you myself, I can at least try to refer you to an attorney who can. Thanks! Attorney Jay Wilkinson.
